La Terre magnétique

Édouard Glissant|French edition
The poet Édouard Glissant lived in Martinique, Paris and New York, where he taught at City University. For six decades, Glissant reflected on questions of post-colonial identity and the layers of relationships between the world's cultures. For the series “Peoples on the Water”, the poet explored the Easter Island of Rapa Nui - and immersed himself in the mythical world of its natives.
