The White Guard

Michail Bulgakow
Bulgakov's great novel about the Ukrainian civil war and the turmoil of the Russian revolution in Kyiv.

It's a classic by Bulgakov. He was born, raised and grew up in Kyiv and started to write his major work The White Guard in Kyiv at Andriyivskyy Descent 13 (Podil) where the museum of Bulgakov is located now. In this house he also wrote The Days of the Turbins and now you can come to this museum and find yourself supposedly in the same era that Bulgakov described.
